From our base at Aercwel Mill - a home and retreat space among the trees - we curate spaces that allow artists to be artists, with residential opportunities that enable deep connection, professional development, and creative support.
Aercwel Mill is a small creative centre offering home, hearth and space of research to artists, seekers and makers of all stripes.
A 400-year-old fulling mill situated in the Forest of Dean, an area rich with diverse history as well as acres of established woodland, it is built on principles of community, shared practice, focused research, and deepening our relationship with the living world.
It is also a family home.
The site hosts Eden’s Cave’s ‘The Gathering’ programme, solo and group residencies, and is open for hire from external theatre and film companies.
